 FAQs of Global Indian program

Here are a few frequently asked questions on the real need for a Global Indian education.

Why should I change? Let them change!

Whoever wants success adapts. We are teaching Indian cross culture to foreigners too! And they are lapping it up! The change required is in the outer layer, in behaviour, words, codes of conduct. No change is expected in your values or beliefs. They are looking to adapt to Indian ways too, so we want to meet them half way. Since it spells success for both parties, both could adapt, couldn't they?

How does it matter what the India flag proportions are?

It does matter, because it is the symbol of your country! Americans will proudly tell you the 50 stars on their flag are their fifty states, we cant say that because our states evolve all the time...but we have such depth of meaning in our colours and the chakra. Lets confidently learn to use this in conversation.

Why can't I learn this the day before a foreign client meeting?

Together with your technical skills you have to get comfortable with cross cultural skills. This needs practice to feel you can adapt to it and the more practice you get the more confident you will feel. You cant show up at the client meeting and then think "now wait a minute, how was it that the global Indian course taught me to say "NO" politely?"
