The creators of the Global Indian represent a team with hands-on experience in over 50 countries. Through years of travel, work and studies, they have acquired a deep understanding of cross-cultural behaviour and analysis. Today they share and teach essential skills to 1000's of Indians and expatriates, blending personal stories, contemporary news, and effective theory. The Global Indian is their platform to reach out even further.

Ranjini Manian – Founder and CEO, Global Adjustments |
|
|
Ranjini is a multi-cultural expert. She was a student of Elphinstone College, Mumbai and then of University of Sorbonne, Paris. Besides English, she speaks French, Japanese, Spanish and several Indian languages. As a winner of “the Outstanding Student of Japanese” award, she went on a scholarship to live and train in Japan.
She has authored “Doing Business in India for Dummies” , she also writes regular columns in leading business dailies and is a sought after speaker.She is the only Indian Executive Committee member on the Women’s leadership Board at Harvard University.She also writes regular columns for the New Manager in The Hindu Business Line newspaper and is a sought after speaker.

Rajeshwar Balasundaram – COO, Global Adjustments |

Rajeshwar has over 20 years of multi-dimensional global IT industry experience, across multiple geographic regions. He holds an Engineering Degree from Anna University Chennai, and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Raj has lived eight years in the US, two years in Canada, and has spent several months in the UK and Japan on various assignments. His vast experience with cross-cultural management practices has been an asset to the project.

Shobha Naidu – Senior Manager - Cross Cultural Services, Global Adjustments |

Shobha has a DEA ( M.Phil. ) in development studies from the University Institute of Development Studies in Geneva. She has extensive experience, having lived and worked for several years in Egypt, France, Switzerland and Pakistan. Her work with French organizations supporting development projects in India, has given her a strong understanding of effective communication across cultures. Shobha speaks French fluently.

Ashok Pakiam – French NRI, Lead Content Manager, Global Indian |

Ashok is a French citizen with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Philosophy from the US. He comes with an extensive expatriate background, having lived in Switzerland, Iran, UK, France and the US. He has also traveled numerous times to Cambodia, Vietnam, and Japan, where he has family roots. He returned to India in 2001, after spending many years working in Television advertising in New York. Ashok speaks French fluently.

Alex is a country specialist from England for Global Adjustments. She has lived and worked in Chennai for almost 8 years. Through her work Alex has developed impressive cross-cultural communication skills, and understands the challenges and pleasures of working with a culture very different to one's own.
